Real Madrid are reportedly "unhappy" Cristiano Ronaldo has not publicly dismissed rumours that he wants to leave Spanish football.

Ben Hayward of Goal reported the UEFA Champions League winners are disappointed their star player has so far refused to speak out on his immediate future after being accused of potential tax evasion.

Portuguese paper A Bola (h/t Hayward) reported Ronaldo would certainly leave the country during the summer, but Real are keen to hold onto their forward.

Madrid president Florentino Perez moved quickly to express his feelings about the player, per Hayward.

"Everybody knows I want Cristiano to stay here for life," said Perez. "He is one of the pillars of this team and also a big part of the history of this club."

According to The Times (h/t Simon Rice of Metro ), Real expect Ronaldo to make a statement on his intentions, as Manchester United , Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea lie in wait. Despite his ageing legs, Ronaldo continues to perform at an exceptional standard, scoring 37 goals in La Liga and the Champions League last term, according to whoscored.com

In other news, Danilo is set to leave Madrid, with Chelsea and Juventus potential destinations for the defender.

According to Metro, Juve lead the race to capture the former Porto star, who has failed to replicate his best form since moving to Spain. Marca (h/t Metro) reported Chelsea want to create a deal to tempt the player to west London as they prepare for life back in the UEFA Champions League.

Danilo has much to offer a new club, and his time at Real could be considered a blip if he grabs a chance at a major European team. A bid of £30 million is expected to make Real sell, per Metro, leading to a swift departure for the talented Brazilian. Danilo has the potential to be a major player at a different club, and his experiences at Los Blancos will make him a better talent.
